Sixty tons of e-scrap was collected during a one-day event in San Jose, Costa Rica, as e-scrap recovery made its way to Latin America. The drive was sponsored by the Technical Committee on Management of E-waste, a coalition of government business and academic leaders, and was supported by numerous OEMs and processors, including Intel (Santa Clara, California), Fortech (Castro Valley, California) and GEEP (Barrie, Ontario).
