EPC's 2008 Earth Day Recycling Sale Event

EPC ANNOUNCES A DRIVE-THRU FREE ELECTRONIC RECYCLING & DOCUMENT SHREDDING EVENT
ST. CHARLES, MO, April 10, 2008 -- In conjunction with their Spring
Earth Day Sale, EPC will accept unwanted computers and other small
electronic equipment on Saturday, April 19, 2008. All normal disposal
fees will be waived. This free recycling event has been underwritten
by EPC, Microsoft, St. Louis Solid Waste District, Blancco (Data
Security Software) and American Document Destruction Services.
The general public is invited to drop off old computers & related peripherals, VCRs, small (non-console) TVs and all other home electronics free of charge from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at EPC’s headquarters, 3941 Harry S Truman Blvd. in St. Charles, just north of I-70 at the Cave Springs exit. This is a DRIVE-THRU event where individuals will be able to get their equipment unloaded without having to even get out of their vehicle. Drop-offs are limited to electronic equipment only; no household appliances will be accepted.
Additionally, EPC will offer shredding of hard drives and back-up tapes, for residential customers only, who have security issues they would like addressed. The shredding will be done by EPC’s mobile Data Destruction Recycling Vehicle (DDRV), which recently was introduced by the company to provide on-site data disposal solutions for businesses across the nation.

will be on hand to “pulverize” documents like old tax and other various
sensitive records.
